That old two engine hill climber was something you don't see everyday. They had a display for E J Potter with the V8s.

Re: Built in a salvage yard
Ok cowboy, I dragged the trailer out of the snow the other day and went for a ride in the rain. It's time to get ready. If it stays warm I'll pull the bike apart this weekend and see what needs to be repaired. Maybe we will see you in a few more weeks.

3 weeks to go about time to look at bike. I don't like to rush into to these things.

Re: Built in a salvage yard
I took mine apart last weekend. Lots of oil in the exhaust flange. The turbo seems to have survived all the oil tests in very good condition. I can't see where the seal is bad or the thrust washer, or the spring, or the O-ring. I think what is now happening is that the drain line is too restrictive. I am pushing a lot more oil to it and I think it just gets full. Then when the seal burps all that oil heads to the exhaust. Ordered a new seal and made up a larger drain line. I seem to get about 20% more flow with the next size up. It still may not be enough.

Dang I missed a few other ones. I should have taken a picture of that high tech timer of yours. Did you find a place to mount it?

Re: Built in a salvage yard
That's cool alright. It'd fit in just nicely as a nostalgia bike over here.
